Lots of new and interesting places are opening up in Chai Wan. I recently went to L’Appuntamento, a collaborative project by Founder and Creative Director of Casa Capriz, Irene Capriz, Director of Platform China HK, Claudia Albertini, and Founder of Tangram, Paola Sinisterra.
It was inspiring to walk around the showroom and admire the one-of-the kind vintage pieces found and collected by Irene. The history and story behind these pieces are most fascinating, especially the turn of the century pieces like the double dressers and LV luggages with the original owner’s initials and travel stamps. The furnitures are also available for photography or film production rental where Irene explains that she wants to add value and story to each of the pieces. It’s not just about buying and selling them but having a great journey and story with the pieces.
